Halifax Port Authority Signs Agreement with Encana Corporation for Richmond Terminals

Halifax, NS - The Halifax Port Authority announced today that they have signed a new 15-year contract with EnCana Corporation to lease 9B, 9C and 9D of Richmond Terminals, effective January 1, 2003.
"We are very pleased to further our partnership with EnCana Corporation", said Karen Oldfield, President and CEO, Halifax Port Authority. "The offshore sector is growing in Nova Scotia and the Port of Halifax will play a key role in supporting the industry. This deal is encouraging for the future."
