Outdoor Film Festival Continues Tonight Along the Halifax Waterfront

Halifax, NS – August 7, 2009 – Tonight, as part of the 9th annual alFresco filmFesto, the Halifax Port Authority is the presenting sponsor of the movie, Dead Poets Society. The screenings are held at the end of the Waterfront Boardwalk, just before the entrance to the Halifax Seaport, overlooking the harbour.

New to the festival this year is an inflatable screen – the first of its kind in Atlantic Canada.

Dead Poets Society is one of six films being presented at this year’s outdoor festival. Screenings take place at dusk every Friday night from July 24th until August 28th for only $5. Still to come this summer are some all-time favourite movies including; The Breakfast Club, Peter Pan, and Pulp Fiction.
